Easter School Holidays

Ryan's scarecrow for his garden. Note the Stampin' Up punch and stamp used

Ryan came to the Island for a few days to spend with Ma and Pa. We had heaps of fun crafting, cooking and shopping. Boy Ma was sure tired after this visit as she missed her Ma naps in the afternoon.

A big jigsaw puzzle

Yummy cakes Ryan but you have to share with Pa.

Easter 2012

Spent a wonderful Easter in Maleny with our daughter Deanne and her husband Tony and his family.

Deanne and Tony where over from Amsterdam for a family get together to celebrate their recent marriage.  Had a super duper lunch at the Boat House,  Cottontree so I made some Easter favours for the table for the children and adults.

Edens Landing Housesit

Spent a month house sitting in Edens Landing near Beenleigh in Brisbane looking after two big white Maremmas (Italian Sheep Dog) and a little black kitten, for Nick and Marilyn .
Their names Fred, Georgy and Missy.

This breed of dog amazed me as being a large dog, they are just so gentle ,laid back and so well behaved.  A real pleasure to spend time with. They are the dogs that spend all their time in the paddocks living with and protecting the flock and have a natural herding instinct.
While there got to know Marilyn's Aunt Dot who is just the nicest lady.  Hope I will go back sometime in the future to sit again.

Ryan and Rheanna's Graduation Cards

The cards I made for the two little cuties who graduated from Preschool and are now in Prep or Big School as they call it.
Made with Stampin' Up products and My Scrap Girl downloads cut on the Pazzles Machine

Christmas Holidays 2012 on the water

Had a lovely long holiday on "SantaMonica" our yacht this year and this is the painting that Ryan gave me for Christmas . It is of our house and the yacht and it now has pride and place on the bulkhead in the dining area (saloon) of the yacht.  Boots is keeping watch over it as he came on holiday with us.  We spent time just toodling round Moreton Bay and down to the Gold Coast broad water for New Year to watch the fireworks. Caught a couple of fish but they were all too small for the pan.

We picked up Paul Leah and Ryan on Boxing Day and spent the day at the top of Macleay Island. Ryan thought it was really great to steer the yacht on the way with Pa's help.  We again tried to catch some fish but still none big enough for the pan
The next day took our good friends Dallas and Erica . Had a lovely day and nice lunch . Motored up to our mooring in Canipa Passage and caught up on all the gossip and again tried fishing - Still no fish
Had a short sail on the way back to Victoria Point. Surprised how well SantaMonica went along.
